3 Recipes From Our 1st Cooks Atlas Demo
A huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the Cooks Atlas preview party and chef demo at the Texas Farmers’ Market at Mueller last weekend! It was such a joy to bring our very first clickable prototype to life and share a few of my favorite summer recipes with so many curious, kind people.
Our menu for the day:
Sautéed Summer Squash – simple, seasonal, and full of flavor
Easy 7-Minute Tzatziki – creamy, tangy, and perfect for summer snacking
Light & Bright Vegan Pesto – a fresh take on a classic, with a vibrant green color that lasts
I had so much fun sharing samples with over 325 market-goers, answering all kinds of great questions along the way, like:
🌿 How do you keep pesto that bright green? (No sad brown dip here!)
🥒 What’s the trick to sautéed squash that isn’t a soggy mess?
⏱️ What’s your go-to no-cook savory summer snack?
If you couldn’t make it out, no worries — my team and I put together free downloadable PDFs of all three recipes so you can enjoy them at home. Each recipe is easy to make, crowd pleasing, nutrient-dense, and packed with summer flavor. 👉 Download the recipes here.
And if you want to catch us live next time, mark your calendar! We’ll be at Bell Market on July 12th, and back at Mueller Market on August 10th. Plus, join our waitlist to stay in the loop about our next events and our site launch later this year.
💛 Special thanks to the local farmers and makers whose incredible ingredients made these dishes sing: @motherculturesa, @growtopia, @vermillion, and @bouldinfoodforest — your summer squash, cucumbers, basil, kale, and Greek yogurt were the stars of the show!
